This favorite photographs post almost didn’t happen and I am so happy it will! In 2014 I invested in online backup.  This is so important for everyone. Hard drives crash, and I had two crash this year alone. So I am sharing with you my favorite online backup company BackBlaze, worth every penny! My replacement drive arrived yesterday, so now I can take a look back at some of my favorite images from this year!

My goal, was to slim it to 14 images, my 14 favorite for 2014.  My eye always wants to pick technically perfect images, light, composition, subject…but sometimes my heart chooses emotionally perfect images…as you can see this made it very hard to slim to 14. Here are a few favorites that made my smile.

I love photography and creating beautiful images for families to cherish is my driving force. I am so thankful to every family I have photographed.  You see, for me, capturing emotionally perfect images is what feeds my soul.
