I am not sure you can anticipate ahead of time just how much you will love your own baby.  I think I am particularly in love with photographing maternity sessions because I can recall my own feelings of love, awaiting our first baby.  This Andover maternity photographer session brought me back to the quietest of times…a certain peace that felt protected for planning and thinking and craving the cooing sounds and sweet smell of our first newborn.  Motherhood has changed for me in so many ways over the years…but at the very base of it is still the same.  Your heart creates a new one. Your love builds a person, and no matter how they grow or how they change, they are part of you and you are continually getting ready for the next stage.

I am posting this session today, having shot this newborn session yesterday.  Baby Whitney, just two weeks old yesterday, held her sweet hands together as she slept…a movement all her own…a movement her mama could feel first.
