It was a complete dream! A gorgeous farm, a fantastic horse, beautiful snowflakes to decorate the earth, and a loving mother-daughter to photograph, I could not have been more excited to shoot a session like this!  I felt as though we were in a snow globe!

In all that beauty, the most stunning piece was the love theses two share. The longer I photograph people, the more I am drawn to the essential purposes of connection; in this case motherhood. When I was first called for this session, it was the clear vision of the mother to get images that reflect how she feels about her daughter in this age and stage of life. Alex is inquisitive and curious, confident, bright, and has become quite a horse lover!

This horse’s name is Arty and he has made many appearances in my photo sessions over the years, such a gentle giant! I am always amazed by how careful he is with children.
